Meet Grace Ciolino

As we mentioned earlier this week, our Envogue family has grown a bit in the past year. We are very grateful to have both the need and the space to add some real talent to our team. This post, we are welcoming Grace!

Grace Ciolino joined us in 2015. She studied cosmetology at Hairs How School, fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming a hairstylist.

"I like to make people feel beautiful. It makes me happy. Coloring and styling are my specialties. My clients inspire me to be a better stylist. I wouldn't be where I am without them".

When Grace isn't in the salon, she's spending time with her now 1 year old daughter and her fiance, Matt whom she calls, "the people that make me the person I am today".

EnVogue recently welcomed Sherry Marshall, Gina Ciaramitaro and and Grace Ciolino into our salon family.  To better introduce our newest team members, we asked them to write a little about themselves to share here.  

Individual pages will be coming soon with photos of these lovely ladies. For now, we wanted to give each of them the chance to shine and show a bit of their personalities and their work.  

Let's start with Sherry...

Meet Sherry Marshall


Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, moved to LA for a little while but then came back because there is nothing like home.

Who do you live with?
I have 3 of the coolest animals.  A beautiful female calico named Luna who is the Queen B of the house.  A male Siamese named Charlie with the coolest blue eyes that remind me of a human.  And a Carlin Pinscher pup which is 6 months old and rocks the coolest bow ties.

How did you know you wanted to be a stylist?
Hair and makeup have always been a passion of mine since I was in grade school cutting my mother's hair on the steps outside of our home.  I bounced around for awhile in different fields of occupation and education programs.  After a several years of doing that I decided to do what I love, which is hair and makeup and studied at Empire Beauty.   

What do you like most about your job?
 My favorite thing about my job is collaborating with clients - highlighting  their personal style along through my professional,  artistic eye.  Seeing the unique outcome that makes them feel fabulous - that leaves me feeling proud. That's what it's all about.

Who do you admire most?The people I find most inspiring are strong independent women regardless of what they do.

What do you do in your free time?
I work 6-7 days a week so when I do have free time I do whatever my fancy heart desires at that given moment.  I'm a play it by ear type of gal and I love to see what life throws my way.

What makes you "you"?
What makes me, me....hmm that's a tough question.
